Here is a quick list of the players released by the Ravens over the weekend:
Teams aren’t required to cut to 80 players until Tuesday. But once teams get their third preseason games in the books, there’s no reason to keep the extra guys around.
Ravens beat the Redskins 34-31 with a late touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor to Brandon Jones. Overall it was a good game on both sides and we saw alot from the Ravens play makers. Here are my quick thoughts about last night's game:
- Hoping to see more of Ed Dickson and we did. I see him as the starter over Pitta based on his skill set.
After a pathetic performance against the Eagles last week, the Ravens came back looking like a much improved and much more disciplined football team. They beat the Chiefs on Friday night 31-13 but let's go inside the numbers.
- Flacco throws for 124 yards after playing into the 3rd quarter but he again looked lost when his first option wasn't available.
The Ravens added a veteran receiver to a group that certainly needed help.
Am I really writing a recap of a preseason game? Guess so. Last night's game against the Eagles was important given the amount of questions the Ravens have at multiple positions on both sides of the ball.
