Orioles Activate The Sheriff From DL

Mark Reynolds

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated infielder Mark Reynolds from the disabled list and placed right-hander Stu Pomeranz on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 26, with a left oblique injury.

Reynolds was placed on the disabled list retroactive to May 11 with a strained left oblique. He is batting .191/.324/.337 with two home runs and nine RBI in 27 games for the Orioles this season. He has hit safely in five of his last seven games before going on the DL, batting .348/.484/.739 with five extra-base hits in that time. (MASN Sports)

That smell is every pitcher in the American League shitting their pants at once. Mark Reynolds is ready to get back to doing what he does best.....smashing 500 foot homers. He got off to a slow start but he's got 114 games left in the season so I see him breaking Barry Bonds' home run record right around the All Star break. Supposedly, Cooperstown wanted to induct him into the Hall of Fame but they are going to wait. By the way did you know Mark Reynolds can do a wheelie on a unicycle? Basically he's a badass. Welcome back Sheriff!
